Zinnias have always been a part of what we do.

They’ve always grown well. Always been reliable. Always been one of those flowers you could count on. Bright, easy, and consistent. A staple in gardens year after year.

But something started to change when we introduced our mixes.

Sometimes, you don’t plan a shift… it just happens.

That’s exactly what we saw with our zinnia mixes. What started as a few thoughtfully put together blends, with quirky desert names, quickly turned into something much bigger. Customers weren’t just growing them. They were sharing them. Posting them. Making YouTube videos. Even garden influencers started reaching out to feature them. And turning them into bouquets that stopped us in our tracks.

And that’s when we realized… this wasn’t just about flowers anymore.

The Mixes That Started It All

Some of our earlier zinnia mixes quietly became favorites.

Not because we pushed them. Not because they were flashy. But because they just worked.

Soft pinks paired with bright whites. Gentle yellows blending into warm lime green tones. Mixes like Blushing Bride, Blueberry Cheesecake, and Lemon Meringue didn’t just grow well… they felt right.

Gardeners started telling us the same thing, over and over.

“These look like florist bouquets.”

“I didn’t even arrange them… I just cut them.”

That’s when it clicked for us.

What We Learned

People weren’t just looking for flowers.

They were looking for effortless beauty.

They didn’t want to guess what colors worked together. They didn’t want to overthink spacing or combinations. They wanted to plant something… and know it would turn into something special.

Those early mixes taught us a few things:

  • Color palettes matter more than individual varieties
  • Softer, curated tones create a more elevated look
  • Gardeners love “cut-and-go” bouquet gardens
  • Simple can still feel high-end

And most importantly…

When you get the mix right, everything else falls into place.

The Next Generation of Zinnia Mixes

After that realization, things started to shift.

We weren’t just creating mixes anymore. We were designing them.

This next round of mixes became more intentional.

More refined. More deliberate.

Raspberry Sorbet leaned into rich, romantic tones. Deep purples, soft pinks, coral blends, with a touch of lavender. This mix has real depth. Real warmth. The kind that feels like it belongs on a table… not just in the garden.

Key Lime Pie went the other direction. Fresh. Clean. Completely unexpected. That soft green and creamy white combination gave gardeners something completely different. Something you didn’t see everywhere.

These mixes proved something important:

When you guide the palette… you shape the entire experience.

And that changed everything that came next.

Meet the New Mixes

Creamsicle Zinnia Mix

Warm. Bright. Nostalgic.

Soft whites paired with vibrant oranges create that perfect late-summer glow. It feels like golden hour in flower form. This is the one that makes everything around it feel warmer.

Rose Zinnia

Romantic. Soft. Timeless.

Blush tones, soft rose pinks, and delicate transitions that feel effortless. This mix leans into elegance without trying too hard. If you’re after that “wedding bouquet” look… this is it.

Lavender Zinnia

Calm. Muted. Elevated.

Dusty purples and soft lavender tones give this mix a refined feel. It’s subtle, but it stands out. This has quickly become a personal favorite. The kind of flowers that make people stop and look twice.

There’s no wrong choice here. Just different directions. Whichever direction you go, you’ll end up with something worth cutting.

Why Zinnias Just Work

At the end of the day, this isn’t really about zinnias.

It’s about what they create.

And part of what makes them so special is how little they ask for… and how much they give back.

It’s about walking outside and seeing something beautiful that you grew.
It’s about cutting a bouquet and not overthinking it.
It’s about sharing it with someone… or just setting it on the table.

And that feeling?

That’s what we’ve been chasing with every mix.

Wrapping Things Up!

Looking back, it’s pretty incredible how this all unfolded.

What started as a few simple mixes turned into something much bigger. Not because we planned it that way, but because you showed us what mattered. What you planted. What you loved. What you shared.

Each generation of mixes brought us closer to something simple:

Flowers that feel effortless, but look intentional.

If you’re planting this season, these mixes are the result of everything we’ve learned along the way. Refined. Tested. Proven in real gardens.

And as always, if you ever need help choosing, planning, or growing… we’re here!
