Scabiosa 'Black Knight,' also known as Mourning Bride, is a captivating heirloom flower that adds a touch of dark and dramatic elegance to any garden. Growing to about 2-3 feet tall, this unique variety features striking, deep burgundy to almost black, pincushion-like blooms. GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:
Direct sow seeds outdoors in early spring or late summer/fall. Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep and 6-12 inches apart in full sun. Keep the soil moist but not soggy and provide them with plenty of sunlight. Thin seedlings to 12-18 inches apart once they have a few sets of true leaves. Scabiosa prefers well-draining soil and moderate watering.
