Discover the distinct flavor and aroma of Red Oaxaca Epazote, also known as Mexican Tea. This heirloom herb, growing to a height of 2-4 feet, features striking reddish stems and deeply lobed green leaves. Prized in Mexican cuisine, Epazote offers a strong and somewhat pungent flavor that is traditionally used with beans and other dishes.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:
Direct sow seeds outdoors in spring after the last frost or start indoors 4-6 weeks earlier. Sow seeds on the soil surface and lightly press them in, as they need light to germinate. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Thin seedlings to 12-18 inches apart in full sun. Epazote prefers well-draining soil and can tolerate dry conditions once established. Harvest leaves as needed throughout the growing season.
